A Heat Warning was issued today, July 21, by the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit. Here are some ways to Stay Cool:
Free swim at the LaSalle Outdoor Pool, July 21, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, sponsored by Essex Power Corporation.
Visit the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex - recreational swims take place from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (regular admission fees apply), or visit the splash pad.
Visit the LaSalle Library at the LaSalle Civic Centre.

Each year, the Town of LaSalle recognizes volunteers for their hard work and dedication. The community is encouraged to submit nomination forms to recognize members of the community who go above and beyond. Council members review the nominations and choose a volunteer who stands out in each category. The award recipients will be acknowledged at a celebration at the LaSalle Civic Centre on Friday, September 22.
