For residents affected by the recent flooding, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs has approved the Town of LaSalle for the disaster relief fund. The Disaster Recovery Assistance for Ontarians (DRAO) application is now live and can be accessed through the following link:  http://www.mah.gov.on.ca/Page16597.aspx

Christian disaster relief organization sending Disaster Relief Unit and recruiting clean-up volunteers

To assist residents who were affected by flooding the last week of August, the Town of LaSalle has arranged for an extra garbage pick-up. Arrangements have been made with a third-party contractor, separate from WDS, to complete the extra collection.
This free curbside collection will take place on Monday, September 11, and will collect only flood damaged materials. All regular household garbage should be left at the curb for regular garbage collection.

Flood Warning August 29, 2017 The Essex Region Conservation Authority advises that, the watch issued for the Region has been reinstated as a WARNING for areas of Windsor and LaSalle which are currently receiving significant rainfall. Rainfall amounts are surpassing storm drain capacities for areas throughout the western regions of the city and town.
Additional precipitation is forecasted as potential thunderstorm activity. Existing standing water may remain for a significant additional time frame.
