LaSalle Summer Voyageur Day Camp

LaSalle Voyageur Camp invites children to experience 1700’s  history and nature adventures through an amazing outdoor experience!  Inspired by the LaSalle French Voyageur & First Nations heritage, this day camp offers all the experiences of an authentic overnight camp along with cultural, educational and nature based programming.  Your child can unplug and explore this summer at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex!

Choose your own theme each week!  Choose between specialty camps, science, sports or creative themes.  Scheduled activities will run between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm and will include a variety of activities based on the theme.  Before and after care is available (7:30 am to 5:30 pm) at no extra cost.                  General camp activities will also be included and each camp will include a minimum of sixty minutes of physical activity per day.  Campers will be placed in age appropriate groups for each theme.

You spoke, we listened!

We’ve made big changes for an improved camp experience.

More space!
Children are happiest and healthiest when they are outside interacting with nature.  Campers will spend most of everyday outside exploring our incredible 189 acres.  Drop-off and pick-up for campers will take place in the Vollmer multi-purpose room.  Within 15 minutes of drop-off, campers will be escorted to our camp base, located at the outdoor pavilion. This allows for active play and allows us to accept more registrations.

Revised Age Groups
We now have a separate camp for our youngest campers.  “Kinder Voyageurs” will be for campers     ages 4 and 5 years and will take place separate from the rest of the camp and have its own schedule of field trips.

Improved Communication
We’re using ePACT Network to securely collect participant health information and emergency contact details electronically, so that we can provide the best support to participants, and communicate with you in the event of an unexpected situation.
