Fantastic Fridays/Super Saturdays

Swimming, arts and crafts, sports and games, are just some of the fun-filled action packed experiences planned! Space is limited. The programs for youth (ages 6-12) take place on Fridays from 6 pm to 9 pm and on Saturdays from 12 pm to 3 pm. The program for teens (ages 13 +) takes place on Fridays from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Vollmer Youth Dances

Youth in grades 6, 7, and 8 are invited to dance the night away at our Vollmer Youth Dances.

  • The dance is open to participants in grade 6, 7, and 8 only.  Participants may be asked to provide proof of age, and if unable, may be asked to leave the dance.
  • The Vollmer Dance allows soft-sided bags, smaller than 6" by 4" by 4".  All persons and bags entering the dance area are subject to inspection. Medical bags/kits allowed.
  • The dance will be supervised by Vollmer staff from 7 - 10 pm.  The Town of LaSalle will not supervise participants outside of scheduled event hours.
  • Outside food or drink is not permitted.
  • Participants are not allowed to leave the dance area and will not be readmitted if they leave. (There have been some instances of youth leaving the dance and refusing to return.  When this happens, the youth are no longer in our care.  Please remind your children who are attending the dance that they must stay at the dance).
  •  Any participants caught violating facility rules and regulations will be asked to leave immediately.

Volunteers

  • Volunteers 14 years and older can assist with a variety of tasks such as swim admission, birthday parties, public skating, food service and others.
  • Aquatic Assistant Instructors may volunteer with swimming lessons.
  • Volunteer positions are perfect for high school students looking to complete their 40 hours of community service.
