Boat Ramp

Park and boat rampThe Town of LaSalle Boat Ramp is located at Gil Maure Park, at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive. There are two ramps available. The Boat Ramp is operational, weather permitting, from April 1 to October 15.

The boat ramp also has 7 transient slips available. Overnight boaters will be charged a fee of $10.00 per night. These slips are not serviced.

July 15, 2019:  The LaSalle Boat Ramp at Front Road and Laurier Drive has been closed until further notice due to flooding in the area.  Boat Ramp Pass Holders may request a partial (50%) refund by calling 519-969-7771. You do not need to bring in your sticker.  If you paid by VISA/MC, you must provide the card number and expiration date.  Those that paid by cash/debit will receive a cheque in the mail to their home.  Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing. You will receive an email confirmation/receipt once the refund has been completed.

boat rampThe purchase of a Annual Boat Launch User Permit is a time and money saving way to use LaSalle's boat ramp. This will allow boaters to launch their boats without having to stop and pay at the kiosk.

Early-bird passes are available for LaSalle residents only (proof of residency must be provided). Early-bird passes must be purchased by March 31.

Passes are available for purchase as of January 2 at the Vollmer front desk. They will also be available at the Ramp after opening.

Boating

As of September 15th, 2009 all boat operators in Canada must have a Pleasure Craft Operator Card or risk expensive fines. For more information visit http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety/menu.htm or visit http://www.boaterexam.com to complete an online test to obtain your card.
