Survival in the Bush: Fire-starting Demonstrations (Flint & Steel) every hour starting at 10:00 am ending at 3:00 pm; Cordage Making: every hour starting at 10:30 am; Furrier display, bone tools. 

Shop RV Le Marché for unique merchandise such as leather items, wood crafts, jewelry, home baked goods, preserves, spices, fresh produce and more. Food vendors will tantalize your taste buds with festival favorites, corn on the cob, pancakes and other delicious bites. 

Walpole Island First Nation: Be sure to visit the Anishinabemowin language station, learn how to make traditional frybread, the impact the canoe had in shaping waterways, storytelling, necklace making and more.   

Free family fun in the RV Place de la Famille – enjoy activities galore including period crafts – rag dolls and clay animals, archery, face painting, tattoos, children’s games, storytelling, inflatables, entertainment and more. 

Witness the 18th century history, culture and way of life featuring historic clothing, trade goods and furs at Métis Roots an authentic 1700 French-mixed blood, fur trade encampment. Le Voyageur Errant provides visitors with an authentic interpretation of the fur trade life. 

Join us for the Rendez-vous Voyageur Pyro Musical Fireworks Show on Saturday, September 21 at Gil Maure Park starting at 8:30 pm. This spectacular fireworks extravaganza features the music of our French and First Nations cultures. FREE Express shuttle service will be available on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. between the Vollmer Complex and Gil Maure Park. Food and vendors will be on site. Bring your chairs and blankets – this is a fireworks show you don’t want to miss!
