Rendez-vous Voyageur
Vendors and Re-enactors

We are looking for unique vendors and re-enactors that reflect the 17th-18th century to commemorate our French and Native culture and history and will provide visitors with an authentic and fun-filled day.

Here are a few examples and suggestions for vendors:

  • Food: soups (corn, squash, bean), honey, maple syrup, sweet shop, crepes, poutine, smoked (turkey leg) and cured meats, cheeses, baked goods, fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers, dried fruits and nuts, crepes, poutine, beavertails, fish fry, corn on the cob.
  • Merchants: candles, handcrafted native and Canadian jewelry, pottery, hand-crafted items, wood, leather, artwork, wool and more.

Vendor and Re-enactor Event Details

Friday, September 20, 2019 (optional)
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Audience: students and seniors

Saturday, September 21, 2019 (mandatory)
10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Open to the general public

Admission is free to the public.  10,000 visitors are expected.

Interested applicants are encouraged to download and complete one of the following applications.  Forms can be submitted to events@lasalle.ca by August 30, 2019.
