The regular meeting of LaSalle Council scheduled on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 has been cancelled. Council will hold its next regular meeting on July 25, 2023. LaSalle Council meeting agendas and minutes are available on the Town of LaSalle Council Calendar web page.

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning on July 4 and July 5, 2023. A heat warning is issued when two consecutive days are forecasted to have a daytime high temperature greater than or equal to 31°C and a nighttime temperature greater than or equal to 21°C or a humidex greater than 42°C.

The Vollmer Centre will be closed to patrons and all programs are cancelled on Thursday, June 29, but staff do not have the day off! All staff at the Vollmer Centre will take part in an annual training session to review emergency procedures and protocols. Training is an important part of staff orientation for new employees and gives seasoned staff a chance to review and give feedback on department procedures.
