Construction will begin today, July 25, 2022, on the installation of a canoe dock at Vince Marcotte Park. The dock will be located north of the pedestrian bridge over Turkey Creek. This project will take about two weeks to complete. Please use caution in this area while work is in progress.

The Town of LaSalle will host the July 26, 2022, Regular Meeting of Council at 6:00 pm. Meetings are held in-person in Council Chambers; members of Council and administration may participate virtually. Meetings will continue to be streamed live on the Town of LaSalle YouTube Channel.

Sidewalk construction is scheduled to begin today, Monday, July 18, 2022, on the north side of Normandy Street between Ellis Street and Sovereign Drive. The project will take about three weeks to complete. During the construction, both bike lanes will be closed and there will be lane restrictions along this section of Normandy Street. Thank you for your patience in this area while the work is in progress.

The annual hydrant maintenance program will take place over the next couple of weeks in LaSalle in the following area:
Area 42 - Rushwood Crescent to Sixth Concession Road, and Huron Church Road Line Road to Heritage Drive.
Customers in this area may experience a reduction in pressure and/or discolored water conditions. If water discoloration occurs, residents should run their cold water taps until the water clears. For information, please contact the Public Works Department at 519-969-4143.
