LaSalle Hosts 1.50 KM Beer Run

The LaSalle Craft Beer Festival is set to take place on Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7 at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex. New this year, runners can take part in a "Canada 150" 1.50 KM Beer Run!

The $35 registration fee includes run registration, festival admission (participants can re-enter the festival on Saturday night), a one-of-a-kind beer fest toque, finishers medal (it's a bottle opener!) and of course an ice cold beer!  The event is open to the first 100 registrants!...

Students from Académie Ste Cécile International School, and visiting students from Escuela Normal Superior (Marinilla, Colombia), recently stopped by the LaSalle Civic Centre.

Mayor Ken Antaya lead the students through a tour of the building, including Council Chambers. Thank you for visiting!

Maintenance on Front Road in LaSalle

Union Gas is completing some work on Front Road in LaSalle starting on Monday, October 2. The northbound right lane will be closed north of Malden Road. Please drive with caution. The work is expected to take about a week.

LaSalle's 2017 Mill and Pave Program

LaSalle's 2017 Mill and Pave Program will begin this week on Sprucewood Ave., from Malden Rd. to Matchette Rd. The construction on Sprucewood Ave. is scheduled to begin on Wed., Sept. 27 (weather-permitting). The work should take less than one week to complete. The road will remain open with flag people directing traffic. Please use caution when driving and/or walking in this area during the construction. Motorists should expect some delays.
