At the March 24 council meeting, LaSalle mayor, Ken Antaya, challenged Leamington mayor, John Paterson, to a battle over the upcoming Junior B hockey finals.

Congratulations to the LaSalle Vipers! The team beat the Sarnia Legionnaires on March 21 to win the 2nd round of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Western Conference. The Vipers will now face the Leamington Flyers in the championship round.
