WDBA Hosts Business-to-Business Meetings

Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority will host two Business-to-Business meetings to allow the region’s companies and organizations to meet with Proponents participating in the Request for Proposals (RFP) process. These meetings will provide an opportunity for local contractors, suppliers and service providers to network with the potential constructors and operators of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.

Heritage Estates and Oliver Farms Flooding Public Information Centre No.3

The Town of LaSalle, through their consultant Stantec Consulting Ltd., has initiated a study to investigate the cause and solutions to basement flooding resulting from rainfall events that occurred in August of 2014 and July of 2015.

LaSalle Releases 2017 Proposed Budget

Town of LaSalle administration is recommending that Council approve a 0.46% Municipal Tax Rate increase in the 2017 budget. Residential tax payers will see an increase in overall tax rates due in part to the recent Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) reassessment. Most residential properties in LaSalle have seen an increase in value to their property.

Huron Church Line Watermain

Construction on the Huron Church Line watermain begins November 17. There may be some minor delays on Huron Church Line between Sandwich West Parkway and Sixth Concession.  No detours are required.  The work is expected to take about 3 to 4 weeks.
