Hello residents of LaSalle,
It’s summer time in LaSalle and families have been enjoying the many outdoor amenities offered by the Town including baseball and soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts, the Vollmer splash pad and skateboard park and the many parks and trails throughout our community. Summer camps offered at the Vollmer Complex are in full swing and kids are enjoying the many fun activities designed and planned by our creative and energetic staff.

This week, the Town is performing some stormwater sewer maintenance work upstream from the retention pond located at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex. This means the retention pond will need to be pumped down to a lower level. The pond water level will be low for about one week as this work is completed.

On Monday, July 11, construction will begin at John Dupuis Park, located at 905 Hazel St., in order to make the playground more accessible. The upgrade includes changing out the protective base around the playground from the current pea stone to an engineered wood fiber. This product provides a firm, stable base to give children and caregivers with various disabilities the ability to move through and around the outdoor play area.
The playground equipment will be closed for about three weeks....

The Town of LaSalle will host the July 12, 2022, Regular Meeting of Council at 6:00 pm. Meetings are held in-person in Council Chambers; members of Council and administration may participate virtually. Meetings will continue to be streamed live on the Town of LaSalle YouTube Channel.
