After a day-long budget session on February 8, LaSalle Council has asked administration to find savings in the 2023 LaSalle Draft Budget. It was presented at a 5.25% tax rate increase, and Council members would like to see that reduced to somewhere between 4.5% to 5.0%. With the request for the decrease, Council Members agreed that the reductions should not affect the current level of service that residents have come to appreciate.

The Town of LaSalle 2023 Interim Tax Bills were mailed the first week of February. Please contact the Finance Department at 519-969-7770, ext. 1230 if you do not receive an interim tax notice by the middle of February and should have received one. Failure to receive a tax bill does not mean that there are no taxes owing for your property.
