Annual Hydrant Maintenance - Area 40

The annual hydrant maintenance program will take place over the next couple of weeks in LaSalle in the following areas: 

Area 40 - Matchette Rd. from Laurier Dr. to Martin Lane, Martin Lane from Front Rd. to Malden Rd., and Golfview Dr.

Area 32 - Laurier Dr. south to Town Line Rd., from Howard Ave. west to Broderick Rd./Huron Church Line.

Customers in these areas may experience a reduction in pressure and/or discolored water conditions. If water discoloration occurs, residents...

A Successful Weekend at the 2022 LaSalle Strawberry Festival

It was a successful weekend at the LaSalle Strawberry Festival with higher than anticipated crowds attending the four-day event from June 9-12. Over 33,250 people visited the event at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex, up from an average of 25,000 per year.

Fireworks Night at the 2022 LaSalle Strawberry Festival

The fireworks show is tonight, Friday, June 10 at 10:00 pm near the pond at the Vollmer Complex. The best viewing areas will be in parking lot 1, the main lot at the pavilion/playground area, and on the hill behind the pavilion. Parking may be difficult throughout the weekend. Patrons are reminded not to park in no parking zones as they will be ticketed and/or towed. 

Free shuttles to the fireworks will be running from the LaSalle Civic Centre and the old Centennial Arena site on Front Rd....

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival is happening all weekend long from Thursday, June 9 to Sunday, June 12 at the Vollmer Complex. It’s a weekend of all things strawberry! Be sure to try the local strawberries and ice cream. Berries provided by Raymont’s Berries in Cottam, Ontario, and served by Life After Fifty. Traffic Note in LaSalle: Strawberry Festival Parade

The LaSalle Strawberry Festival parade will travel along Front Rd. beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 11. The parade starts at the Turkey Creek Bridge (near Reaume Rd.) on Front Rd. and ends at Sacred Heart Dr. Please note that Front Rd. will be closed between Morton Dr. and Victory St. from 9:00 am to approximately noon. Please use an alternate route.

LaSalle Transit Route 25 will be redirected for the parade. Bus stops located on Matchette Rd., Morton Dr., Front Rd. and International Ave....
