LaSalle Boat Ramp Opens April 7, 2023

The LaSalle Boat Ramp, located along the Detroit River at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive, will open for the season on Friday, April 7, 2023. Users must have a seasonal pass or purchase a day pass to use the boat ramp. Passes can be purchased at the ramp when a staff member is present (debit or credit only), through the Vollmer Centre reception, or online.  

• Cash will not be accepted at the boat ramp. 

• An attendant will be on-site daily from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, weather permitting.

LaSalle Council Meeting Tuesday, April 11, 2023

The Town of LaSalle will host the April 11, 2023, Regular Meeting of Council at 6:00 pm. Meetings are held in-person in Council Chambers; members of Council and administration may participate virtually. Meetings are streamed live on the Town of LaSalle YouTube Channel.

Vollmer Centre Pool Temporarily Closed

The pool at the Vollmer Centre will be closed on Sunday, March 26 and Monday, March 27, 2023, due to a mechanical issue with our pool heater. All drop-in activities, including Aqua Fitness, Adult Lengths and Leisure Swimming, have been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience. Mondays with the Mayor, March 27, 2023

Mondays with the Mayor gives members of the community an opportunity to meet with Mayor Crystal Meloche in person to share ideas or ask questions.

Mayor Meloche will be available on Monday, March 27 from 9:00 to 11:00 am, and select Mondays throughout the year at pre-set dates and times. No appointment is necessary. Members of the community can check in with reception at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Rd., on the scheduled dates. Appointments are limited to 10 minutes per person.
