Based on information from Environment Canada, the Windsor- Essex County Health Unit has issued a Heat Warning for next two days. A heat warning is issued when two consecutive days are forecasted to have a daytime high temperature greater than or equal to 31°C and overnight temperatures greater than or equal to 21°C or a humidex of 42 or greater.

The annual hydrant maintenance program will take place over the next couple of weeks in LaSalle in the following areas:
Area 28 - Matchette Rd to Malden Rd, north town limit to Pope St/Naples Cr.
Area 30 - Laurier Dr to Martin Lane, Front Road to the Detroit River.

Between May 23, 2022 and October 31, 2022 a mosquito larviciding program will be conducted to reduce mosquito populations. This is being done under the authority of the Medical Officer of Health under Ontario Regulation 199/03 and by permit approval of the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks in the following communities: Windsor, Essex, Tecumseh, Lakeshore, Leamington, LaSalle, Amherstburg, and Kingsville.

Hello residents of LaSalle,
As we near the end of May we have lots of activities and events coming to life in LaSalle. Visit our newly constructed LaSalle Dog Park or the Vollmer splash pad that is now open for the season. We look forward to hosting the community at the LaSalle Night Markets that starts this month and run all summer long.
