Hello residents of LaSalle,

Essex County Warden, Hilda MacDonald, hosted the annual Warden’s Luncheon yesterday at the Ciociaro Club. This luncheon is a gathering to celebrate our region with local municipalities and community partners. The key focus was on strengthening partnerships and collaboration in order to build on local business and development, and to enhance the quality of life in all of our communities.

Easter 2023

Wishing you and yours peace and joy as we approach Easter. Municipal offices are closed on Friday, April 7, and Monday, April 10.  The Vollmer Centre will be closed on April 7 and April 9, and is open on Saturday, April 8 and Monday, April 10 for all regularly scheduled lessons, programs, and fitness. If you have a question about a municipal service, program, or facility, ask us anytime through the customer service portal.

Boat Ramp

The LaSalle Boat Ramp at Front Road and Laurier Drive will open for the season on Friday, April 7.   Users are reminded to have a season pass or to purchase a day pass to use the boat ramp. Passes can be purchased at the ramp when an attendant is present (debit or credit only), through the Vollmer Centre front desk, or online.

Yard Waste Collection Begins

Yard waste collection begins in LaSalle on Saturday, April 15. Please put yard waste out the night before collection. A list of acceptable materials and collection dates can be found in the 2023 Collection Calendar.

Clean-Up LaSalle

Looking for a way to help beautify our community? Here’s how you can help. Organize a park or trail clean-up through Clean-Up LaSalle. The process is easy: choose a date and location, complete the online form, and pick up the gloves and garbage bags provided by the Town. We take care of the rest. Your actions will help to protect wildlife, reduce waste in the environment, and preserve the environment for generations to come.
