The LaSalle Strawberry Festival is happening all weekend long from Thursday, June 9 to Sunday, June 12 at the Vollmer Complex. It’s a weekend of all things strawberry! Be sure to try the local strawberries and ice cream. Berries provided by Raymont’s Berries in Cottam, Ontario, and served by Life After Fifty. Help cheer on Captain Strawberry and his friends during the Mascot Dance Off; it’s going to be a fun dance party! Looking for more strawberry fun? The festival grounds are paved and wheelchair accessible. Accessible restrooms are available in multiple locations on-site.  Accessible parking is also available in all parking lots with paved pathways leading to the festival grounds. Please note: Parking lots 6 and 7 are gravel parking lots. Parking lots 2 and 3 are closed as this is where the festival is located. View the Vollmer Complex Grounds Map.

Accessible seating is offered at the front of the main stage and at The Flying Fools Dive Show area. Sensory-friendly hour, with limited noise and lights, is Sunday, June 12 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.


The fireworks will be launched on Friday at 10:00 pm near the pond at the Vollmer Complex. The best viewing areas will be in parking lot 1, the main lot at the pavilion/playground area, and on the hill behind the pavilion. View the Vollmer Complex Grounds Map.

Free shuttles to the fireworks will be running from the LaSalle Civic Centre and the old Centennial Arena site on Front Rd. from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The last run to the fireworks will be at 9:45 pm. Transit Windsor’s mandatory mask policy remains in effect and masks must be worn on the shuttles at all times. 


The LaSalle Strawberry Festival parade will travel along Front Rd. beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 11. The parade starts at the Turkey Creek Bridge (near Reaume Rd.) on Front Rd. and ends at Sacred Heart Dr. Please note that Front Rd. will be closed between Morton Dr. and Victory St. from 9:00 am to about noon. Please use an alternate route.

LaSalle Transit route 25 will be redirected for the parade. Bus stops located on Matchette Rd., Morton Dr., Front Rd. and International Ave. are closed between 9:00 am and noon on Saturday, June 11. The route will resume normal operation, with all bus stops open, following the parade. LaSalle Transit is free all weekend. Safety at the Festival 

The Town of LaSalle is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience. Everyone should expect and help to promote an environment where people are treated in a respectful manner.  The Town of LaSalle will not tolerate unsafe, abusive, unlawful, or offensive conduct. Guests who engage in this type of behaviour are subject to being ejected from and potentially banned from the festival and the property and may be subject to arrest by local police.

Horseplay including running, chasing, pushing, wrestling, etc. will not be tolerated and will result in the guest(s) being removed from the festival. One re-entry per guest, per day, will be permitted. Re-entry passes will no longer be distributed after 6:00 pm each day. Festival admission will close 45 minutes prior to the festival closing time each day. Visit our website for a full list of general rules.

LaSalle Transit 

Everyone can ride LaSalle Transit for free from June 9 to 12! The bus service has been enhanced during the LaSalle Strawberry Festival with free service and extended hours to match those of the festival. At times, parking may be difficult at the Vollmer Complex.

One bus will run during all festival hours with final pick-ups at the Vollmer Complex taking place a few minutes after the festival closes. In addition, bus service has also been added on Sunday. A schedule is posted on the LaSalle Transit page on the Town’s website.

Transit Windsor’s mandatory mask policy remains in effect and masks must be worn on LaSalle Transit at all times.

Bike Valet

A free bicycle valet service is provided by Bike Windsor-Essex. Festival patrons are encouraged to ride a bicycle to the festival and ride right up to the admission gates.

No Smoking/No Vaping

The smoking of tobacco or cannabis and vaping of any substance is prohibited on or within 20 metres of the Vollmer Complex property.
