The Town of LaSalle provides municipal Police and Fire Services as well as Emergency Planning. In addition, our emergency service departments also provide a broad range of non-emergency services to the community to promote prevention and safety.
Ambulance service in LaSalle is provided by Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
The LaSalle Fire Service currently responds to all tiered response medical emergencies within LaSalle town limits along with the Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The LaSalle Fire Service has started an Advanced Cardiac Life Support service, with the introduction of semi-automatic defibrillators. Now, along with Standard First Aid and CPR, all firefighters can deliver the necessary shock to restart a person's heart. There is currently a defibrillator on all first response fire trucks. All defibrillators were purchased with the efforts of dedicated local service clubs and private citizen donations.
