June 1, 2016 marked LaSalle's 25th anniversary. In 1991, residents of the Township of Sandwich West opted to define themselves as a town, and incorporated as the Town of LaSalle.
The Town of LaSalle celebrates 25 years with the launch of the "Living LaSalle" campaign. The campaign highlights our growing community and all the amazing amenities and opportunities available. The main focus of the Living LaSalle Campaign is on the personality of LaSalle and the people who play a critical role in it, making it one of the fastest growing - and safest - towns in Southern Ontario.
There's no doubt that LaSalle's focus on infrastructure, services and progressive planning is attracting mass appeal. LaSalle puts high quality living within reach across all generations. The Town has instant access to trails, parks, and green spaces while also being situated just a few minutes away from big city amenities.
To celebrate 25 years, 25 community members are featured in the campaign, which launched on October 25th at the LaSalle Council meeting. Coined "Living LaSalle", the campaign shines a spotlight on individuals who are making an impact in the community, in the business world, and across arts, culture, athletics, and more. From volunteers to well-known figures from all walks of life, each reflects on how they are "Living LaSalle".
All 25 profiles were revealed on the Town of LaSalle Facebook and Twitter pages, and on this web page.
