Refund Policy for Recreation Activities

Refunds are issued in accordance with policy. Please visit the Municipal Policies page to view the Activity Registration and Admission Policy.Missed classes cannot be made up and do not qualify for a refund. Classes interrupted by bad weather, power failure, building evacuation, mechanical difficulties and/or pool fouling will not be made up or refunded. All refunds will be processed according to the chart below. Submission of a refund request does not guarantee a refund. Please allow 4-6 weeks for refund processing. Please Note: non attendance and/or letting instructors/staff know does not mean a notice of withdrawal.

Transfers will be permitted if activity space is available. You may transfer activities up to and including before the third meeting of the activity.

Drop-in Swimming and Skating

For all drop-in activities, requests received with less than twenty-four (24) hour notice are not eligible for a refund or credit. All other requests for refunds will be returned as a credit on account.

Birthday Parties, Day Camps and Pool Rentals

  • Refund requests for birthday parties, day camps and pool rentals received more than four (4) weeks prior to the activity date are eligible to receive a full refund.
  • Requests received between four (4) and two (2) weeks prior to the activity start date are eligible to receive a credit on account only.
  • Requests received less than two (2) weeks prior to the activity start date are not eligible to receive a refund or credit.

Memberships

Withdrawal from a membership must be made in-person. A $75.00 administration charge will apply for annual memberships. Memberships cannot be transferred to another person. Refunds will be pro-rated based on the date of the request for the refund.

Refunds are issued for medical reasons with an attached medical note, moving away from the area, or at management’s discretion. Refunds or credits may not be requested after a membership has expired.
