Parks and Trails

Flower bed with pink and white flowers at Gil Maure Park

The Town of LaSalle offers many beautiful parks you can visit year-round. Our natural landscape makes playing in the great outdoors an adventure. In addition to beautiful Parks, come discover all the paths and Trails. Whether you prefer walking, jogging, cycling, or mountain biking, there are a number of places you will want to investigate.

The County of Essex is implementing a County Wide Active Transportation System (CWATS) - to help people 'Walk, Ride County Wide'.

Boating enthusiasts can find everything they need at the waterfront. Included is the Boat Ramp at Gil Maure Park.

Parks Master Plan

A new Parks and Recreation Master Plan, "Connect to an Active Lifestyle" (PDF), was approved by LaSalle Council at the April 14, 2015 Council Meeting. The master plan addresses the community's needs for the next 15 to 20 years. The last Parks and Recreation Master Plan was completed in June of 1995.

The consultants for the project, Bezaire and Associates, hosted two open houses, completed an online community survey and interviewed key community stakeholders. They also completed a detailed review of the current parks, and developed action steps to address any issues.
