Register by Phone

To register by phone, please call the Vollmer Recreation Complex at 519-969-7771, ext. 0 to register for any program. If the phone call is sent to voicemail, please leave us a message and we will call you back. Please do not leave credit card information on a voicemail. Due to consistently high call volumes, we encourage online registration when possible.

Account Setup

How do I create my account?

1) Click on the Create an Account link.

2) Fill out all required fields,(birth date, gender, email address, etc.) and click submit. Please submit your request only once.

*Please Note: If you are registering a child for an activity, please use your own information when filling out the online registration account request form, NOT the information of the child you wish to register for an activity. Once you have an online registration account, you will have the opportunity to add family members.

3) You will automatically receive an email after submitting your request for an account.

I forgot my password. Now what?

Do not create a new account. When you are prompted to sign in, check the 'Forgot Password' box and click continue. You will be requested to provide the email address you used to create your account. An email will be sent to you containing a temporary password. Upon signing in, you will be prompted to change your password. 

Your Online Account

What can I do online?

You can register for activities including programs, day camps and swim lessons. You can also update your account information and add a new credit card to your family account. Credit card information is not shared with the Town of LaSalle.

Can I add and register family members online?

 Yes. You may add family members in the three following locations:
  1. You may add a family member while submitting your head of household account information, by clicking on submit and 'Add New Family Member' link.
  2. You may add a family member under 'My Account', this is done by clicking the 'Manage Family Member'.
  3. You may also add family member during the enrollment process. This is done by clicking on the link 'Add New Family Member.'

Online Receipts

Your receipts are also accessible online. By logging into your account, you can view and print receipts. Receipts for recreation programming for youth may be eligible for the Canada Child Tax Benefits.

Security and Payment Information

Will my information be shared with third parties?

No, the Town of LaSalle collects information in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Information will not be shared with outside parties.

Can I view and print receipts from my online account?

The receipt you receive through email has limited details. This is because ACTIVE Net must follow certain privacy laws. You can view your transaction history and print your receipts from your customer account online. To view past receipts, visit your Transaction and Payments History tab on your account.

Can I get a refund for classes through ACTIVE?

No, you cannot cancel a registration or receive refunds for registrations online through ACTIVE. To request a cancellation and refund, please visit or call the Vollmer Recreation Complex. All refunds are processed in accordance with our refund policy. For additional information, visit our frequently asked questions page regarding online registration.

Funding Opportunities

Canadian Tire Jumpstart

The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program is a charity to help kids in financial need take part in organized sports and recreation such as hockey, dance, soccer and swimming. Visit Jumpstart to learn more about their funding program and how to apply.

Pathway to Potential (P2P)Pathway to Potential Logo

Families and/or individuals facing financial struggles may be eligible for funding to take part in recreation programs. The Pathway to Potential Program in partnership with the Town of LaSalle and City of Windsor Social Investment Plan, makes funds available to support residents in LaSalle who otherwise may not have access to recreation opportunities. 


Eligibility requirements

Applicants must reside in LaSalle to access funding and show proof of income.

Funding eligibility is determined based on the size of your family unit and your family's annual net income.

Applicants must submit a copy of your current Canada Child Benefit (CCB) and Ontario Child Benefit (OCB) notice.

Funding is available for all ages; children, youth, adults and seniors who qualify.

How can I use this money?

Funding supports registration fees towards recreational programs. This program does not fund individual lessons, travel sports, uniform and costume fees or yearly membership or association fees. 

Does this cost me?

Yes you are required to pay a minimum of 10% of the cost of the program. Funding allotments are considered on a case by case, individual request basis. Discretion will be used and amounts may vary and be capped, based on each individual request.

How do I access funding?

Approval and registration must be completed by the Recreation Programmer - Customer Care. To discuss the P2P program, call the Department of Culture and Recreation at 519-969-7770 ext. 1235.
