Exercise Classes

 As we re-open our facilities, please note that many changes have been made to ensure safety of our staff and members.  

The Town of LaSalle follows the guidelines and recommendations of the Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Region’s Medical Officer of Health, along with the recommendations provided by the Fitness Industry Council of Canada.

Reservations

  • You must pre-register to participate in a fitness class
  • Click here to register,  or call 519-969-7771, ext. 0.
  • Walk-in participation and visitors will not be permitted

 Before Leaving Home:

  • Stay at home and away from others if you are feeling ill or have symptoms of COVID-19

  • Bring your face covering, as you will be required to wear it while in the facility
  • Arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your class
  • Early entry into the facility will not be permitted
  • Bring your own mat and water bottle
  • Water fountains and refill stations are not available at this time
  • Remember to leave your valuables at home

When You Arrive:

  • You will be required to wear a face covering upon entering the facility 
  • Please enter through the main sliding doors, located closest to the outdoor clock tower
  • You can check in as early as 15 minutes before & up to 10 minutes after your scheduled start time  however, you will only be permitted access to the building during this time frame
  • Early or late arrival will  not be permitted Please note that the main sliding doors will remain locked at all other times

COVID-19 Screening and Waiver:

  • Before entry, you will be greeted by a staff member for screening

  • Individuals will not be allowed to enter the building if they:

    • Are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19

    • Have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days

    • Have returned from travel or been in contact with someone who has travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days (US essential workers are exempt)

  • On your first visit, you will be required to provide a signed copy of the Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19.  This document will be emailed to you at the time of registration. 

After Main Door Check-in:

  • You are required to use hand sanitizer which is provided at the entrance/exit of the facility
  •  Arrive already dressed for your workout as change rooms and showers are not available
  • Only dry, clean indoor shoes are permitted in fitness classes

Fitness Classes:

  • Individual spaces on the floor have been measured out & marked to ensure physical distancing
  • You may remove your face covering once you are inside a marked space
  • Please remain within this marked space for the duration of the class
  • You must wear your face covering once the class is done & keep it on until you exit the building
  • Please exit the building without unnecessary delay
  • Please note that you must bring your own mat if you wish to use one, mats will not be provided
  • We continue to offer Virtual Options for Fitness Classes

Zumba
9:00 am to 9:45 am
The instructor is Sandy.  The class is located in the multi-purpose room and on Zoom.

Sit and Be Fit
10:00 am to 10:45 am
The instructor is Mara.  The class is located in the multi-purpose room and on Zoom.

Cardio Strength
6:30 pm to 7:15 pm
The instructor is Stephanie.  The class is located in the multi-purpose room and on Zoom.
