Building

Building Staff are responsible for:

• processing, reviewing and issuing permits for buildings being constructed and renovated, and for signs and other structures that require a building permit under the Ontario Building Code;
• completing all required inspections during the various stages of construction;
• issuing occupancy letters;
• carrying out technical and administrative duties to ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code;
• issuing permits for swimming pool enclosures;
• processing, reviewing and issuing permits for private sewage disposal systems, for properties located outside the Town's Sanitary Sewerage Service Area.

Applicants wishing to submit Building-related Applications are responsible for completing and submitting the application, together with a fee to the Town of LaSalle in accordance with the Town's Building By-law Fee Schedule.
