Hello residents of LaSalle,

This past week, students from École élémentaire catholique Monseigneur-Augustin-Caron, joined in the raising of the Franco-Ontario Flag at the LaSalle Civic Centre in celebration of Franco-Ontarian Day. LaSalle’s rich French history dates to the 1700s. Thank you to the students who attended and proudly sang the national anthem.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, September 30, serves as a tribute to the children who never returned home from residential schools, the courageous survivors who lived through those challenging times, and the enduring strength of their families and communities.

The LaSalle Civic Centre will be closed on Monday, October 2 in observance of this significant day.

LaSalle Night Markets

The final Night Market of the summer season took place on Sunday, September 24. This event was a great success, with over 90 vendors and a high attendance. Thank you to all staff involved for making the markets a huge success.
