The Multi-Year Accessibility Plan January 2018 to December 2022 (pdf) includes a review of accessibility initiatives, a history of ongoing projects, a description of our future goals and a plan to address the Integrated Accessibility Standards.

The Accessibility Plan will be updated every five years, but reviewed annually by the LaSalle Accessibility Advisory Committee.  This allows Council, staff and the public to monitor the barriers identified, and the direction in which the Town is moving to remove those barriers.

Year End Accessibility Report

The 2020 Year End Accessibility Status Report (pdf) is a report that outlines the completed and ongoing initiatives of the Town to improve accessibility. It is implemented by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (also known as the AODA). This report is completed annually, and is approved by the LaSalle Accessibility Advisory Committee. The purpose of this report is to bring public awareness to the Town's progress in preventing and removing barriers for individuals with disabilities, and to meet the requirements under the AODA.
