Preparing for your Hearing Review

You must submit a Request for Hearing Officer Review form (pdf) within 15 days of receiving your screening decision. Once you have submitted the form the town will confirm the date and time of your hearing review.

If you would like to send someone to the hearing review to act on your behalf, you must complete the Authorization to act as an Agent form (pdf). This form must be signed by the ticket holder.

For your hearing review, please bring copies of any supporting documentation as it may relate to the penalty notice. Examples of supporting documents are:

  • photos
  • accessible parking permit
  • a witness
  • condominium letter/lease

The town does not require to have the officer present at the hearing review.

Hearing Review Procedure

Hearing Reviews take place at the Town Hall located at 5950 Malden Road, LaSalle. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your scheduled hearing time. The hearing review process may take up to two hours, including wait times.

The hearing will be held by a hearing officer. The town will present its case first, after which you will be asked to present any evidence and witness testimonies.

If you fail to appear on the date and time of your hearing review, you will be charged an administrative fee of $100.00.

Hearing Officer Decision

The decision of the hearing officer is final and cannot be disputed. You must pay the amount set out in the hearing decision by the due date. If you fail to pay the amount set out in the hearing decision then additional administrative fees may apply.
