Pick Up Voter Information Letter in Order to Vote in the 2025 LaSalle By-Election

Due to the nationwide strike by Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Eligible voters in LaSalle can pick up their Voter Information Letter (VIL) to cast their vote in the 2025 Municipal By-Election.

The VILs will be available Wednesday, October 8 at 9:30 am until October 20 at 8:00 pm (By-Election Voting Day) at the LaSalle Civic Centre. This letter includes the PIN number that will be used to log into the voting system. Votes can be cast using any computer or wireless device, 24 hours a day from virtually anywhere for the position of one councillor seat. Vote anytime beginning Friday, October 10, from 10:00 am until Monday, October 20 at 8:00 pm.

Outdoor Pool

The LaSalle Outdoor Pool is located at 1200 Front Road and offers lengths, recreational swimming, aqua fitness, swimming lessons and lifeguarding programs.

The LaSalle Outdoor pool will be open for the 2025 season from June 29 to September 26. 

2025 Activity Schedule

Monday to Friday: 7:30 am to 1:30 pm

Saturdays: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Sundays: Closed

Monday to Friday:

  • 7:30 am to 8:30 am
  • 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Monday to Friday:
  • 8:30 am to 9:15 am
  • 9:30 am to 10:15 am
  • 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm

Monday to Friday:
  • 10:30 am to 11:15 am 

Recreational swims at the outdoor pool are provided at no cost, thanks to the generous support by Essex Powerlines Corporation. 
Saturdays:
  • 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

 

 

The outdoor pool has a small slide and spray feature.

  • The slide must be used properly. Head-first or stomach slides are not permitted.
  • Please check with the lifeguards before using the slide. The slide has a weight limit.
  • You must be a minimum of 7 years to use the slide.

The outdoor pool is a four lane, 25 metre lap pool. The depth of the pool varies between 0.6 to 1.4 metres. T

here is a designated diving well that is 2.9 metres deep. The pool is generally kept at 84 Fahrenheit.

    All Town of LaSalle buildings will be closed to the public on Wednesday, June 25, for a Town wide staff training day. On Thursday, June 26, the Vollmer Centre will be closed to the public, and all municipal buildings will also be closed on Tuesday, July 1, for Canada Day.
