As part of the ongoing major construction project on Malden Road, temporary sidewalk and trail closures will begin this week between the Cahill Drain and Grillo Avenue. The closures will occur in three stages over the next few months.

Summer may be winding down, but the celebration is just getting started at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing. Last Call Before Fall returns for two nights of local beverages, live music and an unforgettable weekend. Meet up with friends and family to experience the region's best while enjoying a final toast to summer on Friday, September 11, and/or Saturday, September 12.

Based on information from Environment and Climate Change Canada, Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a Heat Warning for Thursday, September 3, 2026. 

The Town of LaSalle invites residents to attend a Meet the Candidates event on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Event Centre, 970 Front Road.

The Town of LaSalle will host the Tuesday, September 8, 2026, Regular Meeting of Council at 6:00 pm. Meetings are held in-person in Council Chambers; members of Council and administration may participate virtually. Meetings are streamed live on the Town of LaSalle YouTube Channel.

Due to weather, the location of the Sunday, August 30 LaSalle Night Market has been moved to the Event Centre at 970 Front Road. This location allows for the market to be held indoors. The event time remains the same, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
