To mark the beginning of National AccessAbility Week, the Town of LaSalle is hosting a Regional Accessibility Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, June 1, at 1:30 pm at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road.

The Town of LaSalle has approved a municipality‑wide retail holiday exemption under the Retail Business Holidays Act (RBHA). This decision, approved by Council, provides greater flexibility and consistency for local businesses operating on statutory holidays.

Running for municipal office is an important way to serve your community and help shape local decision making. The Town of LaSalle will accept nominations for the 2026 LaSalle Municipal Election beginning on Friday, May 1.

The government is taking action to protect Ontario by investing $49,979.00 in LaSalle to help prepare for and respond to emergencies. 

NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Town of LaSalle that the next regular Municipal and School Board Election to elect a Mayor, Deputy Mayor, five (5) at-large Councillors, and School Board Trustees is on October 26, 2026. The new term of Council begins November 15, 2026, and ends November 14, 2030.

At the Regular Meeting of Council on January 27, 2026, LaSalle Council approved the 2026 Schedule of Fees. This approval confirms the 2026 user fees and ensures they are aligned with the financial direction established during budget deliberations.
