The Town of LaSalle is excited to welcome back the LaSalle Senior Active Living Senior’s Social. Adults aged 55+ are invited to save the date, Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, for this engaging event taking place at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing. Reconnect with friends, meet new people, and enjoy a lively afternoon filled with activities, entertainment, and community.
The H2Oasis Aquatic Centre at the Vollmer Centre will be closed from Monday, September 7 to Friday, October 2, 2026 for its annual maintenance shutdown. The closure includes the indoor pool, sauna, and spa.
To help keep aquatic programming available during the closure, the LaSalle Outdoor Pool, located at Front Road and Laurier Drive, will remain open through Friday, October 2, weather permitting.
LaSalle Senior Active Living offers individuals aged 55+ a memorable day of theatre, dining, and friendship with a bus trip to Stratford for a performance of the beloved musical Guys and Dolls at the Festival Theatre on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Whether you're a longtime theatre enthusiast or looking for a fun day out, this getaway is sure to delight. Don't miss your chance to join the adventure.
Parks Power Hour is a fun-filled summer program that gets kids outdoors, active, and engaged. Sponsored by Essex Powerlines, and free for kids ages 6 to 12, programming includes one-hour sessions filled with games, sports, crafts, and other activities.
Residents can soon dive into summer fun as the LaSalle Outdoor Pool prepares to open for the 2026 season. The pool, located at Front Road and Laurier Drive, opens on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
All Town of LaSalle facilities will be closed to the public on Wednesday, June 24, for a Town wide staff training day. On Thursday, June 25, the Vollmer Centre will be closed to the public, and all municipal buildings will also be closed on Wednesday, July 1, for Canada Day.
Whether you are visiting the Vollmer Complex for games, lessons, or activities, stop by and say 'Hi' to Mayor Crystal Meloche. Mayor Meloche will be on location at the LaSalle Stompers Clubhouse (located at the soccer fields at the Vollmer Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway), on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Beginning Friday, May 15, the Splash Pad at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex officially opens for the season (weather dependent), welcoming residents to one of LaSalle’s coolest hangouts.
All Town owned outdoor baseball and soccer sport fields are opening for the season at the Vollmer Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway, on Monday, May 4, weather dependent.
