LaSalle Senior Active Living Hosts Drop-In Health Clinic

LaSalle Senior Active Living is inviting adults 55+ to learn more about their health and connect with local health care professionals at a free drop-in Health Clinic on Wednesday, November 25, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Vollmer Centre.

The drop-in clinic will give participants an opportunity to ask questions, learn about local health services, collect educational resources, and take part in available screenings and demonstrations.

Three health care providers will be participating:

  • Sound Hearing Care – Doctor of Audiology Justyna Lorenc will be available to answer questions and provide information about hearing health. Details about available screening opportunities will be provided at the clinic.
  • Solid Foundation Chiropractic – Dr. Brock VanDyke will be available to answer questions and will have an Electronic Posture Scan machine on site.
  • Cardiac Care – A technician will be available with equipment including a blood pressure machine and an EKG machine.

No registration or appointments are required. Participants can stop by anytime between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm to speak one-on-one with the participating health professionals and take part in available screenings if interested. Light refreshments, helpful take-home resources, and a few fun giveaways will be waiting for you!

The Health Clinic is offered as part of LaSalle Senior Active Living programming, offering a valuable opportunity for older adults to stay informed, engaged, and connected to their community - all in one convenient location. Funded by the Province of Ontario, this programming reflects LaSalle’s ongoing commitment to supporting active living, fostering social connections, and promoting lifelong learning for older adults.
