Parks Power Hour is a fun-filled summer program that gets kids outdoors, active, and engaged. Sponsored by Essex Powerlines, and free for kids ages 6 to 12, programming includes one-hour sessions filled with games, sports, crafts, and other activities.

The Town of LaSalle Public Works Department is planning to begin watermain construction the week of June 29, 2026, on Quick Avenue and Wales Street, from Morton Drive to the southern limit. The project also includes and mill and pave of the roadway. Work is expected to continue through September, weather permitting. 

The annual hydrant maintenance program will take place over the next couple of weeks in LaSalle in the following areas:

• Area 8: Detroit River to Matchett Road, Reaume Road to Bouffard Road.
• Area 9: Matchett Road to East of Malden Road, Stuart Boulevard to Deerview Crescent.

The Town of LaSalle is excited to welcome residents and visitors to the LaSalle Canada Day Celebration on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, at The Loop and the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing at 970 Front Road.

The Town of LaSalle will be performing a traffic signal timing review along Malden Road between Normandy Street and Orford Road. The work is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 18, with activities occurring between approximately 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. 

Get ready to stroll, shop, and soak up the summer atmosphere at the next LaSalle Night Market on Sunday, June 28, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road.

Mondays with the Mayor gives members of the community an opportunity to meet with Mayor Crystal Meloche in person to share ideas or ask questions.

The Town of LaSalle will host the Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Regular Meeting of Council at 6:00 pm. Meetings are held in-person in Council Chambers; members of Council and administration may participate virtually. Meetings are streamed live on the Town of LaSalle YouTube Channel.

To ensure residents are enrolled in our system and receive alerts in the event of a Town emergency, a test of  the LaSalle Alerts mass notification system will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
