LaSalle Turtle Club players, coaches, and family members will be celebrating baseball’s opening day with a parade on Saturday, April 25. Due to the ongoing storm sewer reconstruction project along Front Road, the 2026 Turtle Club parade will follow a temporary detour.

Yard waste collection begins in LaSalle on Saturday, April 11. Yard waste is defined as grass, leaves, garden trimmings, brush, and branches. Leave yard waste at the curb on Friday night. Yard waste will be collected in cardboard boxes, paper yard waste bags, or garbage cans. Plastic bags will not be accepted.
Additional lane restrictions will be in place along Front Road, between Reaume Road and Bouffard Road, as storm sewer reconstruction work continues.
The LaSalle Boat Ramp, located along the Detroit River at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive, will have an attendant on-site daily for the season beginning Friday, April 10, 2026, from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, weather permitting.
