Voter Information Letters Mailed for the 2026 LaSalle Municipal and School Board Election

Voter Information Letters (VIL) for the 2026 LaSalle Municipal and School Board Elections have been mailed, and residents will begin receiving them in the next few days.

Each VIL includes important information about the voting platform, how to vote, and a PIN needed to access the voting portal. Eligible voters are encouraged to review the information carefully to ensure the information is accurate, and the VIL should be kept in a safe place until voting opens.

The 2026 LaSalle Municipal and School Board Election is an online-only election. Eligible electors can cast their vote using any computer or wireless device, 24 hours a day from virtually anywhere beginning at 10:00 am on Friday, October 16 until Monday, October 26 at 8:00 pm.

Residents who do not receive a VIL by Friday, October 16, or who need to update their voter information, have several options available.

Eligible electors may submit an Application to Amend the Voters’ List form online on the Voter Information page until Monday, October 12, 2026. Beginning on Tuesday, October 13, all voter information changes must be completed in person at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road.

Confirm, update, or add your information if you:

• Have changed your name or address
• Own or rent a new property
• No longer own or rent a property
• Want to remove yourself from the Voters' List
• Want to remove a deceased person from the Voters' List

When completing either form (in-person or online), voters will be required to provide two pieces of valid government-issued identification, including one piece containing a photo.

Beginning on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10:00 am, eligible voters can visit a Voter Help Centre to:

• Update voter information
• Get a Voter Information Letter (includes a PIN number needed to vote)
• Receive assistance with online voting

For added convenience, Pop-Up Voter Help Centres will also be available at the Vollmer Centre and Event Centre at LaSalle Landing.

To make it easier to access election services at the Voter Help Centre, LaSalle Transit Route 25 will be free for all riders on Friday, October 23, and Monday, October 26.
