    Message from Mayor Meloche - July 26, 2024

    Hello residents of LaSalle,

    It was good to see and talk to residents at the LaSalle Turtle Club yesterday evening, the latest spot for Mayor on Location. This is a scheduled event in the community that allows me to talk face-to-face with residents during their day to day activities around Town. The first Mayor on Location took place at the Vollmer Centre in February. The next location will be scheduled in the near future. We will share the date and location. I hope to talk to many of you at the next event.

  • LaSalle Night Market - July 28, 2024

    The July LaSalle Night Market is taking place this coming weekend. Walk or ride your bike to the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road, Sunday, July 28, between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

    Hello residents of LaSalle,

    The Regular Meeting of LaSalle Council this past Tuesday was Chief of Police Duncan Davies last Council Meeting. On behalf of the entire community, we extend our deepest gratitude to him for his years of dedicated service with the LaSalle Police Service.

  • Mayor Meloche On Location - New Date

    Mayor Meloche On Location has been rescheduled to Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the LaSalle Turtle Club, 375 Reaume Road. The original date was postponed due to weather conditions. 

  • LaSalle Quarterly Water Bills July 2024

    The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills were mailed at the beginning of this month and are due by Friday, July 28.

    Hello residents of LaSalle,

    At the Regular Meeting of Council on Tuesday evening, three firefighters were recognized with long service medals. Fire Prevention Officer, Captain Mike Wiley and Firefighter Jason Shinkar were presented with the 20 year Provincial Fire Service Exemplary Service Medal.

  • LaSalle Police Services Board Announces New Chief of Police

    After an extensive nationwide search, Mayor Crystal Meloche, Chair, on behalf of the LaSalle Police Services Board, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Pearce as LaSalle’s next Chief of Police, effective July 29, 2024.

  • Student Saver Pass - LaSalle Transit

    The LaSalle Transit Summer Saver Pass is a 2-month pass designed exclusively for youth (ages 13 to 19), providing savings during the sunny summer months. The $126.00 unlimited ride pass can be used to ride the LaSalle 25 bus in July and August.

  • Cancelled: Mayor Meloche On Location July 10, 2024

    UPDATE Wednesday, July 10: Due to weather conditions, this evening’s Mayor on Location event has been cancelled. The Mayor will be on location in LaSalle again in the future. Stay tuned for the new date and location.

  • Playground Renovations Coming This Summer!

    Upgrades to several playgrounds in LaSalle are taking place this summer.
