The LaSalle Boat Ramp, located along the Detroit River at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive, will have an attendant on-site daily for the season beginning Friday, April 10, 2026, from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, weather permitting.

Mark your calendars for our annual energetic, buskers-style LaSalle Spring Fling on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing. This unique one-day-only event transforms the Event Centre with captivating performances, laughter, and fun for the whole family. Best of all, it’s free!

With spring in the air and warmer temperatures arriving, The Loop Skate Trail at LaSalle Landing is now closed for skating. It’s been a fun winter season, but as the ice continues to melt, residents are reminded to stay off the ice to help keep everyone safe.

LaSalle residents can take advantage of the early bird rate for annual LaSalle Boat Ramp Passes. They will be available for purchase between Sunday, March 1, and Tuesday, March 31.

Families looking to make the most of Family Day, Monday, February 16, will find plenty to enjoy in LaSalle, whether it's gliding through the crisp winter air at The Loop Skate Trail or diving into aquatic fun at the Vollmer Centre.
