Vollmer Centre
- The LaSalle Strawberry Festival takes place from Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, June 14.
- Please note the following important details regarding access, parking and facility operations during this time.
Modified Facility Hours:
- Thursday, June 11: 6:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Friday, June 12: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Saturday, June 13: 7:00 am to 9:30 am
- Sunday, June 14: 7:00 am to 10:00 am
Road Closures and Facility Access:
- A portion of Mike Raymond Drive will be closed from Monday, June 8 through Monday, June 15.
- All traffic entering the Vollmer Centre must use Laurier Parkway.
- Parking will be limited to Parking Lot 1 only.
Effective Monday, June 8 at 6:00 am, all members must enter the facility through the main entrance.
Parade Day Notice - Saturday, June 13:
Due to construction on Front Road, the Strawberry Festival Parade will follow a temporary route around the Vollmer Complex:
- Laurier Parkway (between Malden Road and Disputed Road) will be closed
- Closure time: approximately 9:30 am – 11:00 am
Please plan your visit accordingly, as access to the facility may be impacted during this time.
Programs and Schedules:
During the Strawberry Festival, a modified Swim, Skate and Fitness schedule will be in effect during this time. Please refer to the schedule for details.
Vollmer Outdoor Tennis Courts Closure:
Please note that the outdoor tennis courts located at the Vollmer will be closed from:
- Thursday, June 11 to Monday, June 15, re-opening on Tuesday, June 15.
