Planning Applications

Applicants wishing to file a Planning Act Application can do so by completing and submitting the application, together with a fee to the Town of LaSalle in accordance with the current Town's User Fee Schedule.

Pre-Consultation Application:

Pre-Consultation meetings allow potential applicants or their authorized representatives to present and discuss a development proposal with relevant staff and external agencies.

The pre-consultation meeting allows staff and agencies to provide preliminary comments on the overall development proposal, identify any key issues, comment on the approvals that will be required, and confirm the supporting information, materials and studies that must be submitted with the planning application to be considered a complete application under the Planning Act.

Planning Act Applications:

LaSalle Council is responsible for making decisions regarding the following Planning Act related applications:

• Zoning By-law Amendment Form
• Removal of the Holding Zone Symbol Form
• Draft Plan of Subdivision or Draft Plan of Condominium Form
• Extension to Draft Plan or Part Lot Control Form
• Red Line Revision to Draft Plan Form
• Site Plan Control Form
• Part Lot Control Form
• Official Plan Amendment Form
• Combined Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment Form
• Owners Authorization Form

Committee of Adjustment Applications:

The purpose of the Committee of Adjustment is to hold public hearings and make decisions related to consent and minor variance applications:

All notices of hearings for all Planning Act Applications will only be published on the Town of LaSalle's Public Notice web page. An electronic copy of Planning Act-related Application public meeting notices and Committee of Adjustment public hearing notices available for viewing and downloading.
