Hello residents of LaSalle,

Happy New Year! We look forward to a new and exciting year in the Town of LaSalle.

LaSalle's First Polar Plunge

LaSalle is freezin’ for a reason with the first Polar Plunge hosted by the LaSalle Police Service (LPS). On Thursday, January 23, join us at the LaSalle Event Centre to help make a splash to support the Special Olympics Ontario!

Date: Thursday, January 23, 2025
Time: Registration is 5:00 pm, Plunge from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Location: LaSalle Event Centre, 970 Front Road

Here is how you can join the fun:

  1. Be a plunger: Register here and join a team!
  2. Raise funds
  3. Cheer or volunteer: Not ready to plunge? No problem! LPS would love to see you out cheering everyone on.

For this first LaSalle Polar Plunge, LPS wants you to bring your best costume, your energy, and your team spirit!

Monday's with the Mayor

Mondays with the Mayor gives members of the community an opportunity to meet with Mayor Meloche in person to share ideas or ask questions.

Mayor Meloche will be available on Monday, January 27, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. No appointment is necessary. Check in with reception at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road. Appointments are limited to 10 minutes per person.

Water Billing

The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills are due by Friday, January 31.

There are many payment options available. To avoid late fees when paying through your financial institution, make your payment a few days before the due date. A late fee will be automatically added to your account if we receive the payment after the due date.

Pickleball

Indoor drop-in pickleball at the Event Centre has begun! Afternoon and evening sessions will be open to the public aged 16 and over.

The cost is $5.00 per user, per session, and can be paid with cash, credit, or debit. Players must bring their own paddles and balls. Equipment is not available on site.

Winter sessions are as follows:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

  • 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
