Check The Mail for Upcoming Water Bills

The Town of LaSalle residential quarterly water and wastewater bills are being mailed this week and are due by Friday, April 24. Interim property tax bills were mailed in February, and the second installment is due on the same date. 

If you do not receive notice by the middle of April and believe you should have received one, please contact the Finance Department at 519-969-7770, ext. 1230. 

The Interim Tax Notice covers approximately 50 percent of the previous year’s annual property taxes. The 2026 Final Tax Notice will be mailed in June, with due dates of Friday, June 26, and Friday, August 28.

When paying through a financial institution, it may take a few days for the payment to be processed and sent to the Town.  To avoid late fees, be sure to make your payment several days ahead of the due date.

Tax payment options:

Mail
Send your cheque and payment stub to the Finance Department, Town of LaSalle, 5950 Malden Road, LaSalle, ON N9H 1S4.  

In-person
Visit the Town of LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road, LaSalle, ON N9H 1S4, during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Drop-Box
Cheques (no cash) may be placed in the drop-box at the LaSalle Civic Centre, located on the north wall of the front entrance, next to the employee entrance.  

Post-Dated Cheques
Post-dated cheques may be submitted for installment due dates. Please include the payment stubs and write the property roll number on each cheque.

Telephone/Internet Banking
Contact your financial institution for details. The payee may be listed as “LaSalle ON Taxes” or similar.

Mortgage Company
If your tax bill is paid by your mortgage company, the tax listing will be sent directly to them. You will receive a final tax bill in June for your records and income tax purposes.   
 
Pre-authorized Payment Plans
The following pre‑authorized payment plans are available for both property tax bills and water bills:

• 10 Month Payment Plan
• 12 Month Payment Plan
• Due Date Plan
• Budget Plan

Go Paperless! Register on the Town of LaSalle Online Services to view your property tax and/or water bills and transactions. Once registered, your bills will be emailed to you. A PIN# to create your account can be found on your current bill, or you can get a PIN# by calling the Finance Department.
