Have Your Say: Share Your Feedback on the Future of LaSalle Transit Route 25

The Town of LaSalle is inviting residents, businesses, and community partners to help shape the future of local transit by taking part in an online survey and sharing feedback about LaSalle Transit Route 25. 

The LaSalle Transit Master Plan will review how LaSalle Transit Route 25 works today and how it should improve over the next five years in the community. The Plan will consider where people live, how the Town is growing, and how transit can better serve the community now and in the future. 

Take a Short Online Survey

Share experiences, expectations, and ideas about LaSalle Transit Route 25 through a short online survey that takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. All responses will remain confidential. The survey closes on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. 

Engage with the Community Online 

Public feedback is an important part of developing LaSalle’s Transit Master Plan. LaSalle residents, businesses, and community partners are encouraged to share their input by leaving comments about LaSalle Route 25 on PlaceSpeak, the Town’s online community engagement platform.  

Background 

In December 2025, the Town of LaSalle engaged Left Turn Right Turn, an Ontario‑based consulting firm, to lead the development of the Transit Master Plan and guide community engagement throughout the process. 

LaSalle Transit Route 25 was introduced in 2017 and currently operates as a single route using two buses—one starting at St. Clair College and one serving the Morton Drive and Front Road area. It takes approximately 45 minutes for a bus to complete the full LaSalle route, which currently serves about 70 per cent of homes within LaSalle’s urban area. Between 2023 and 2025, LaSalle Transit averaged approximately 32,000 rides per year. 

LaSalle Transit service has exceeded the Town’s expectations, with continued growth demonstrating the value and importance of public transit in the community. As transit needs and opportunities continue to evolve, the LaSalle Transit Master Plan will help align services and strategies while identifying future opportunities with neighbouring transit systems.
