LaSalle Fire Service Hosts Community Car Wash for Muscular Dystrophy
The LaSalle Fire Service will host a community car wash on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at LaSalle Fire Station 2, 2190 Front Road. This initiative is a part of Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Month in Canada and aims to raise funds in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Donations will be accepted in place of a set car wash fee. Eighty percent of the proceeds will be directed to families in LaSalle affected by muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders supported by Muscular Dystrophy Canada. The remaining twenty percent will contribute to vital research efforts that advance treatment and care.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and show their support. By participating in this event, residents will not only receive a car wash but also contribute to a meaningful cause that directly benefits individuals and families in our community. Your support can help drive change and bring hope to those living with neuromuscular disorders.
The event is inspired by Danielle Campo, Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s National Ambassador, whose advocacy and personal strength continue to motivate communities across the country.
