LaSalle Gives Back Returns for its Second Year

The LaSalle Firefighters Associations are excited for the return of LaSalle Gives Back this holiday season. This annual initiative will benefit local non-profits and youth assistance organizations, ensuring that funds raised are directed to those in LaSalle who depend on these vital services year-round.

From Thursday, November 13 to Saturday, November 15, 2025, LaSalle Firefighters and community volunteers will take to the streets in LaSalle to distribute newsletters and accept monetary donations.

Until 2023, the LaSalle Firefighters proudly participated in the Windsor Goodfellows Holiday Christmas Food Boxes campaign, collecting donations throughout the Town of LaSalle. While a portion of these donations remained in LaSalle, the majority were directed to Windsor. The first annual LaSalle Gives Back was held in 2024 with an impressive $66,049.54 raised by the incredible community of LaSalle.

This year's donations will support the St. Andrews Anglican Church – Community Food Bank and LaSalle Hangout for Youth. The goal is to provide continuous support to LaSalle residents who rely on assistance programs, not just during the holidays, but throughout the year. By keeping donations local, we aim to strengthen our community and support those in need.

“Every act of kindness counts — no matter how small. Even a $2 donation can go a long way in supporting our neighbors right here in LaSalle. It’s eye-opening to see how much compassion and generosity our community shows, and just how many people benefit from that support. Helping one another — that’s what community is all about. No act is too small to make a difference. Together, we’re proving that when a community comes together, every little bit goes a long way,” says Ryan Petrozzi, Volunteer Firefighter, LaSalle Fire Service.
