LaSalle Interim Tax Bills - February 2026

The Town of LaSalle 2026 Interim Tax Bills were mailed the first week of February. Please contact the Finance Department at 519-969-7770, ext. 1230 if you do not receive an interim tax notice by the middle of February and should have received one. Failure to receive a tax bill does not mean that there are no taxes owing for your property. 

The Interim Tax Notice covers approximately 50 percent of the previous year’s annual property taxes. The due dates for the interim tax bill are Friday, February 27 and Friday, April 24. The 2026 Final Tax Notice will be mailed in June, with due dates of Friday, June 26 and Friday, August 28. 

When paying through a financial institution, it may take a few days for the payment to be processed and sent to us.  To avoid late fees, be sure to make your payment a few days ahead of the due date. 

Tax payment options 

Mail 
Send your cheque and payment stub to the Finance Department, Town of LaSalle, 5950 Malden Road, LaSalle, ON N9H 1S4.   

In-person 
Visit the Town of LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road, LaSalle, ON N9H 1S4.  During regular business hours Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.   

Drop-Box 
Leave a cheque (no cash) in the drop-box at the LaSalle Civic Centre, located on the north wall of the front entrance, next to the employee entrance.   

Post-Dated Cheques 
You may post-date your cheques to the installment due dates. Please write the property roll number on the cheques and include the payment stubs.   

Telephone/Internet Banking 
Contact your local banking institution for information. The payee will be listed as something similar to: LaSalle ON Taxes.   

Mortgage Company 
If your tax bill is paid by your mortgage company, your mortgage company will receive a tax listing. You will receive a final tax bill in June for your records and for income tax purposes.    
  
Pre-authorized Payment Plans 
10 Month Payment Plan, 12 Month Payment Plan, Due Date Plan and Budget Plan. Pre-authorized payment plans can be applied to tax bills and to water bills.   

Go Paperless! Register on the Town of LaSalle Online Services to view your property tax and/or water bills and transactions. Once registered, your bills will be emailed to you. A PIN# to create your account can be found on your current bill, or you can get a PIN# by calling the Finance Department.
