Hello residents of LaSalle, 

Last week, Members of Council and administration attended the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) conference in Ottawa. We attended valuable conferences to meet with representatives from the Ministry of Sport and the Ministry of Finance. These conversations help us continue to advocate for LaSalle by promoting our region, and building important relationships across the province.

I also want to congratulate LaSalle Hangout for Youth, for celebrating its tenth anniversary. I was honored to attend the celebration, and I extend my appreciation to the dedicated staff and volunteers who have made this program such a success in our community.

Green Bins are Coming to LaSalle

I’m pleased to share that the Green Bins are coming to LaSalle. Delivery is expected to begin in early September. Please note that the schedule is fluid, and may change as we get closer to the delivery date. We will keep you informed of any changes.

Starting the week of October 21, 2025, Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) will launch a weekly curbside green bin collection program, helping residents divert food waste and other organics from the Essex-Windsor regional landfill, extending its life. LaSalle Night Markets

We have two LaSalle Night Markets left in the 2025 season. Join us this Sunday, August 31, at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The last summer series market is Sunday, September 28, at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing, 970 Front Road, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. For more information visit LaSalle Night Markets

LaSalle Last Call Before Fall

LaSalle By-Election

The nomination period for the 2025 LaSalle By-Election is open until September 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm. You can file in person at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road. Online voting runs from October 10 to October 20, 2025.
