Message from the Mayor

Hello residents of LaSalle,

Last Friday, November 22, was the fourth annual Holiday Lights Heritage Nights Kick Off event, including a tree lighting ceremony. A big thank you to all our dedicated staff for making the first weekend a huge success.

It means so much to us to offer our residents the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season right here in our community. The lights turn on daily from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with weekend events featuring Family Fridays, Santa Saturdays, and Sunday Holiday Night Markets until December 15.

For more information and details on weekend programs, visit the Holiday Lights Heritage Nights web page.

Breakfast with Santa

Join the fun on Saturday, December 7, anytime between 9:00 am and 11:30 am at the Event Centre, located at 970 Front Road. Breakfast and coffee will be served throughout the event. We’re thrilled to welcome Santa Claus back to LaSalle! Santa will join LaSalle Mayor Crystal Meloche and Council, along with children and families, for a tasty pancake breakfast!

Enjoy entertainment including; a magician, face painting, interactive fun with holiday characters, and music! For full details, visit Breakfast with Santa and the Mayor.

Santa Letters

Calling all kids in LaSalle! Mayor Meloche has a direct link to Santa, and we want to help get your letter to the North Pole. Be sure to drop off your letter to Santa’s Mailbox at the Event Centre (during Breakfast with Santa and the Mayor, or the Sunday Holiday Night Markets) or at the Vollmer Centre, 2121 Laurier Pkwy. (behind the reception desk). Leave your letter by Sunday, December 15, to get a reply before Christmas!

Be sure to include your home address so that Santa can respond, and put Santa’s address on the envelope:
