Sweet Success: LaSalle Strawberry Festival Earns Top 100 Honour

The Town of LaSalle is thrilled to announce that the beloved LaSalle Strawberry Festival has once again earned a spot among the Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario in 2025. This recognition marks yet another milestone for the festival, which has been honoured multiple times in this category over the years.

The award was presented at the 2026 Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) Awards Gala on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in Kitchener, Ontario, celebrating communities across the province that deliver outstanding festival and event experiences.

This honour highlights the Town’s ongoing commitment to building community spirit and creating memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.

“This recognition belongs to our incredible team whose hard work and enthusiasm make the LaSalle Strawberry Festival a cherished tradition for our community,” said Mayor Crystal Meloche.

Each June, the LaSalle Strawberry Festival celebrates the local strawberry harvest and the area’s rich agricultural heritage. For four exciting days, families, friends, and visitors come together to enjoy live entertainment, spectacular fireworks, a lively parade, and thrilling carnival rides. Whether you have attended for decades or are experiencing it for the first time, the festival is the perfect way to kick off the summer in LaSalle.

The Top 100 Award recognizes municipalities that demonstrate leadership in creating positive environments for festivals and events across Ontario. Through this program, FEO celebrates communities that invest in the success and sustainability of local events.

The 2026 Festivals and Events Ontario SUSTAIN Conference attracts over 250 festival and event planners from across the province of Ontario with a major tradeshow, an industry recognition Award Program, and numerous entertainment auditions.
